Nicholas Ware
BSc (Hons) MRICS
Nick has 28 years experience in the retail property and development sector. He founded Union in January 2002 and specialises in advising retailers and in the development sector. His clients include Dolce & Gabbana, Akris, Joseph Cheaney & Sons, Grainger plc, Freddy, Kiltane and Rene Caovilla.
Prior to setting up Union Nick spent over 12 years at Jones Lang LaSalle where he worked within the retail agency and development teams before becoming Director in charge of Central London Retail. Nick has worked on many leading schemes including Fulham Broadway, Broadgate, Ludgate and Centrewest in Hammersmith.
Nick has a particular interest in the luxury retail sector and has advised Dolce & Gabbana on their UK portfolio for over 20 years. He also represents Swiss fashion house Akris and has been involved with transactions with leading brands such as Emporio Armani, Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
John Buckingham
FRICS MCI Arb
John has over 40 years experience in retail agency, and professional services. He joined Union in May 2002. His clients include Antique Hypermarket, Danceworks, Leafgreen Estates and The Eye Place.
Prior to joining Union, John spent 29 years at Jones Lang LaSalle becoming Director of the Central London Retail Agency team in 1982 and Director of Retail Professional Services in 1999. John advised on and let many leading retail schemes including West One in Oxford Street, Whiteleys Shopping Centre, Swan & Edgar Piccadilly Circus and Bentalls Centre Kingston upon Thames.
Claire Dumont
Administrative Assistant
Claire joined Union in November 2007 as PA to Nick and John. She is also responsible for the day to day running of the office and secretarial duties.
